DescriptionBuilding agreement between Edwin Maw, Liverpool, ironfounder, and Thomas Royden, Liverpool, shipbuilder That as Thomas Royden is about to erect a fire - proof warehouse in Bedford Street, Toxteth Park, Liverpool, Edwin Maw shall do all the iron and slaters work needed for the building to the approval of William Culshaw of Liverpool, architect. The work is to be completed by 1 March 1845 except in the event of continued bad weather or an unforeseen accident. If it is not finished and not delayed for such reasons as the above, Edwin Maw is to pay Thomas Royden 10/- a day from 1 March to the time of completion. For the satisfactory completion of the work Thomas Royden is to pay Edwin Maw the sum of £780.
