Description | Indenture by which Hugh Burches of Woodchurch, clerk, and George Burches his son and heir, grant to Robert Leene of Woodchurch, gentleman, all that close of parcel of land called Acre Hey formerly in the holding of Thomas Plummer, Two day Math of meadowing in the New Meadow formerly also in the holding of the said Thomas Plummer and Thomas Mosse, and thos two butts of land in the Middle Town Field being four measures sowing, that part of the Heath Hey formerly belonging to Thomas Mosse, the Pikes called the Parsons Greaves being four measures sowing, all lying in Woodchurch; in exchange for that close or parcel of land called Heath Hey formerly in the holding of the said Robert Leenes, all that close or parcel of land on the back of the Parsonage House at Woodchurch next to the pigeon house belonging to the said Parsonage House now in the holding of Mr. Huntington, schoolmaster there, and so much of that field called the Park as those Pikes called the Parsons Greaves will amount to in measure, allowing foot for foot together with four yards in breadth of land over and above the other measure overacross the said Park for the said Hugh Burches to make a ditch along at his own charge, being the lands and premises of the said Robert Leenes and all situate in Woodchurch |
