Administrative HistoryOpened in 1884 by the Wesleyan Methodists in a former Congregational Chapel at Market Street. After 1898 it became a mission to Hoylake St. Luke's. Closed in 1963.

Minutes of united meetings of Leaders of Hoylake and West Kirby Societies, 1887-1896, are listed with the records of West Kirby, Westbourne Road Chapel (Ref. EMS 146/1/1. The minutes of Hoylake St.Luke's Leaders' Meetings (Ref. EMS 147/2) relate also to the Mission Chapel.
