| Description | Minutes and correspondence of Cheshire Bird Recording Committee and Cheshire Ornithological Association 1966-1988; papers relating to the formation of Cheshire and Wirral Ornithological Society 1988. Records of bird sightings, surveys of specific bird types etc. The records are arranged by year; within each year's bundle should be some or all of the following a) list of contents; b) the published Bird Report; c) records arranged according to species in 'Voous' order (in some years, some species are missing or have been pasted up in groups rather than in individual species); d) occasionally, records from individual birdwatchers not included in species series; e) records from specific sites or from affiliated societies. There are a few reports and papers 1969-1980, but the main series begins in 1981. There are also records of some long-term surveys: the Rostherne National Nature Reserve 1950-1979, the Tetrad Survey 1978 -1984 and the Warbler survey 1989-1996. A copy of the 'Voous' list is in box 1; copies of "The Floating Island: Redesmere and Capesthorne Pools" by J V Oxenham and A L Booth, 1992 with supplements of 2003 and 2005.
