| Description | The cards provide a record of each employee's job grade, wage or salary at different dates and give the full name, date of birth and department. In some cases a residential address is given, national insurance number and pension scheme number. There are occassional references as to conduct and injuries sustained at the workplace. The majority of workers are wages staff although salaried staff cards are among the collection and many women are included , both office and manually employed. |
