Several unused ff. at end were cut out, and according to a memorandum inside the back cover used by the curate for copying out the entries for delivery at Visitation. Sewn in at front of volume: faculty, 3 Oct 1717, for erection of gallery at west end of church, with staircase, and for a seat near the great door; legacies comprising £10 yearly for preaching an anniversary sermon and £10 yearly for teaching 3 poor children to read Widow Hall's legacy, and £5 yearly to be distributed in bread to the poor John Probart's legacy used for erection of gallery, the sums to be paid yearly out of seat rents. Trustees named in faculty, and nominations of new trustees, 1747-1923, endorsed.
