Administrative History	Opened in 1847 as a parish church serving part of Poulton cum Seacombe (formerly in Wallasey St. Hilary parish). The chapel of Somerville, St. Peter, opened c.1920 and closed in 1991. For later records, see also Liscard St. John parish.
