Administrative History | Holy Trinity Church opened in 1757 as a chapel to Warrington St. Elphin. In 1870 it became a parish church serving parts of Warrington (formerly in the parishes of Warrington St. Elphin and Warrington St. Paul), which were transferred from Lancashire to Cheshire in 1974. Bank Quay Mission opened before 1870 and closed after 1887. St. Luke's Chapel of Ease opened in 1893 and closed in 1981. |
