| Description | After reciting that by order of the Commissioners for Compounding with Delinquents, William, Lord Brereton, as in /1 was to settle £40 yearly on the minister of Brereton and £40 yearly on the minister of Church Hulme, that by demise, 19 Jan 1647/8, he conveyed the rectory of Brereton and all tithes in the manor and township of Brereton to trustees as 2 in /1 for 215 years, and that the trustees reconveyed the premises to him, 20 Jan 1647/8, reserving the yearly rent of £80, Edward Rich declares that he has 'sent downe true Coppies ' of the conveyances and security for the rent to be kept in a convenient place and desires the contents to be published to the parishioners |
