Administrative History	Byron Street Council School was opened in 1912, with senior mixed, junior mixed and infants departments. It was reorganised in 1923 as the Central School for Boys later Macclesfield Central County Secondary School for Boys, the Central School for Girls later Macclesfield Central County Secondary School for Girls and a junior mixed school. see SL501 and 502. From 1923 the minutes relate to all three original schools
