Description | The Council decided to appoint a special Advertising Committee in 1905 and in December 1918, a special Development Committee was appointed which was amalgamated with the Advertising Committee in November 1919 to form the Development and Advertising Committee. From this date, the committee's minutes were recorded separately. From May 1951, the committee was known as the Publicity Committee and in June 1968, it was absorbed by the Civic Amenities Committee. |
