Purchased from George Jones, 1877.
These premises comprised a dwelling house on the corner of Brook Street and Gorse Stacks, known as No. 1 Brook Street, and land adjoining the house on the north west side of Brook Street, known as Brook Street Saw Mill and Timber yard. The yard incorporated a plot of land in the south east corner on which two cottages once stood. This property has been demolished, its site now 1971 forming part of the new inner ring road
