Administrative HistoryThese premises comprised stables, coach-house and warehouses. They stood on the north side of Dee Lane from circa 1870 known as Canal St., opposite the Blue Coat Hospital. They were purchased by Chester Corporation, under powers conferred on them by the Public Health Act, 1875, for the purpose of street widening
