This property, demolished shortly after the conveyance to Chester Corporation, stood on the corner of Goss St. and Hamilton Place, and comprised a public house known as the 'Wellington Inn', its washhouse and yard, and the pantry of an adjoining property. It was purchased by Chester Corporation under powers conferred on the Corporation by the Chester Improvement Act, 1884
