This property, built prior to 1662, situated opposite the Nine Houses and standing next to the city walls was rebuilt in or immediately before 1752. By 1830 it was divided into a dwellinghouse and shop but had reverted to 'two dwellings' by 1833. It had been demolished by 1890 when the land was purchased by the Corporation for street improvement under the Chester Improvement Act, 1884 |
