Administrative HistoryPurchased from Henry Viggars, farmer, in 1898.
This property and adjoining land situated between Bumpers Lane, the Corporation sewage works and the River Dee, was originally owned by the River Dee Company but was subsequently used for market gardening. It was purchased by the Corporation in 1898 for extension of the sewage works
