These two houses, now demolished, stood on the east side of Park Street, adjoining the city walls. They were originally part of the estate of John Dodd, skinner, whose property included shops, cottages and a brew-house in Bridge Street, Lower Bridge Street and Park Street, known as the 'Nine House Property'
