Administrative History	Purchased from the Chester British Schools trustees in 1909. This property became the site of the new premises of the Victoria Road School, founded by the Chester British Schools. Association in 1870. The strictly nonconformist nature of its religious teaching is enshrined in the deed of trust of 1871. See A.M. Kennett, Chester Schools, 1971
