Description | Scope and Content Attested copy of will of William Rowland of Hoole, yeoman 18 March 1747/8 Devises to his wife Sarah, meadow in Helsby, and also messuage in Cow Lane, and messuage in Hoole for life; after her decease the meadow in Helsby and messuage in Chester to daughter Sarah and her lawful heirs, and in default of such issue to be divided equally amongst children of his daugher, Rachell Sefton, wife of John Sefton and his grand daughter Sarah Wilson and their several heirs. If Sarah Wilson dies without issue the premises after the decease of Sarah Rowland without issue to be then divided equally amongst daughter Rachel Sefton's children. Daughter Sarah Rowland after wife's decease shall bring up grand daughter Sarah Wilson until 18 years. Also to grand daughter Sarah Wilson £20 when 21 years.
