Copy of will of John Jones, shoemaker, of Chester, 24 Oct. 1741 with grant of probate Chester Consistory Court, 20 Nov. 1741.
Devises messuage in Cow Lane, to John Powell, timber merchant and William Wright, flax dresser, in trust that they by sale or mortgage of said property for or any part of 200 years raise £35 within 2 years and pay
£30 to Frances Jones, his wife and
£5 to his daughter Elizabeth, wife of Mathias Ireland, cheesefactor; and then devises said messuage to his sons, Thomas Jones and John Jones as tenants
