This property, with No. 63, Watergate Street, and Nos. 75 and 77 Watergate Street Row, and Nos. 1 and 3 Weaver Street, was owned by Thomas Knowles, died 1915, and was the subject of a partition between his children in 1922
These buildings are listed in Buildings of Architectural and Historic Interest, 1947, and by tradition are the site of the home of Henry Gee, draper, Mayor of Chester, 1533-4
