DescriptionThe Mayor, Aldermen and Burgesses of Chester, acting as the urban Sanitary Authority, plts., v. Samuel Fielden and John Fielden, of Todmorden, Yorks., esqs., defts., in Chester County Court. The defendants own Queen's Park, a residential building estate of about 45 houses, but have sold some of the houses and building plots there. They own a sewage tank there, from which they have allowed sewage to be carried into the Dee contrary to the provisions of the Rivers Pollution Prevention Act, 1876. a. Brief for the plaintiffs.
