| Description | The indexes give basic non-medical information about each patient admitted to the hospital. The indexes were in operational use at different times, so a patient could appear in two or more volumes. Each volume contains the names of patients who were resident at the period when the index was operational. Therefore the first index does include patients who had been admitted in the late 1820s who were still resident in 1864. |
