| Description | Rehearses that the late Mayor, Roger Lea, failed to obtain relief in the matter of tonnage and poundage, and that the order he did obtain touching the relations between the City and the Exchequer, has already been infringed. Therefore resolved that the present Mayor be requested to go to London for the same purposes, and at the City's expense; fourteen persons are appointed to draw up a memo. of the case for his instruction and guidance.
