DescriptionApril 18th. As the revenues of the City are not sufficient to meet its commitments, the Treasurers are to raise sufficient funds by Michaelmas next, if necessary by a rate.
Fee farm leases to Edward Stanley, Thomas Barker, Peter Wright and Richard Bunburie, and a lease for sixty one years to William Goodman, merchant, of the tower on Dee Bridge.
June 19th. Thomas Bellen and Edward Thompson, on behalf of the City, and with the advice of the four shearmen, to purchase £40 worth of wool at midsummer.
£39, out of a fine of £40, forfeited by Peter Newall, tanner, for non-appearance on a recognizance of the peace, and £60, out of a fine of £80, similarly forfeited by Henry Houghton, ironmonger, are remitted.
