Description | Resolved that the stock for the poor and the house of correction is to be entrusted to the guardianship of James Banester, innkeeper, and Arthur Croxon, they finding better security than anyone else (including Richard Dutton), and undertaking to employ forty poor persons, and to receive all vagabonds. The petition of Henry Houghton that he and his surety may have a bond dispersed with, to be further considered.
