Description | May 3rd. Arrangements for the Earl of Leicester's reception, on his forthcoming visit, are entrusted to a small committee; expenses to be met by loans from members of the Assembly. June 1st. A standing cup, filled with forty angels, to be presented to Leicester; the cup, purchased by Mr. John Tillston, is valued at £18, but the City hopes to obtain it for rather less.
