Description	July 21st. The Mayor instructed to give a verbal denial to Proby. July 29th. The Mayor complains that Robert Brerewood has not attended on him when summoned. The Council's decision in the controversy over calves' skins, is approved of. Thomas Greene and Edmund Gamull to audit Holinshed's accounts. A letter from Derby considered, suggesting that letters from the Council on Proby's behalf be answered.
