Description	Election of Thomas Lawton as Alderman and Recorder in place of Richard Birkenhead, resigned on account of ill-health. William Jannian, servant to Peter Warbuton, and John Gardiner, locksmith, to be admitted, the former gratis and the latter paying £5.
