DescriptionElection of Robert Brocke, gentleman., and Thomas Parsivall as Councilmen in place of the Sheriffs.
John Maddockes, servant to Sir Richard Lewhenor, Nathaniel Woodward, surgeon, and Thomas Sayer, to be admitted, paying respectively £5, £5, and £10.
Auditors are appointed.
(ZA/B/1/275). Neither of the Sheriffs have served as Leevelookers; but, as neither of them wished to serve, and as the Mayor, at whose suggestion they were chosen, states that he was unaware of any order to the contrary, their fines are reduced to £10 each.
The Muragers and Treasurers are appointed to inspect the Northgate prison, and a road in Hand-bridge called the Holloway, and to submit an estimate for repairs.
The Sheriffs to collect the fines and make the usual payments.
