DescriptionIn view of the outbreak of plague in London, no fair to be held at Chester this coming Michaelmas.
(ZA/B/1/278v). An assessment to be made, for weekly contributions towards the relief of those poor families within the City, who are already infected with the plague.
Phillip Moyle to be admitted paying £5.
Note of the second distribution of money under the bequest of Hugh Offley.
(ZA/B/1/279). The Treasurers to collect money from the various Companies, to make up the £20 promised to be paid for the ensuing year to Mr. Cryes, the City's preacher.
