| Description | William Streete, Alderman, declared that he had conferred with William Woods, mason, concerning the repair of the Eastgate, and that Woods had undertaken to repair it for £30, and having 2s: 6d for every "nowell stepp" which he should put into the tower of the gate. The Mayor and five Aldermen and Justices were authorized to conclude with him for this work. |
