Date2nd May, 1679
DescriptionWilliam Starkey, beerbrewer, elected Councilman in the stead of Ralph Hocknill, ironmonger, deceased. He took the oaths and subscribed the declaration.
The Treasurers, Alderman Willme and Mr William Wilson, were to view what timber was growing and fit to be felled on the lands devised to the City by Mr John Lancaster.
The petition of William Martin, barber, desiring an abatement in the rent fixed for the pillars of his building, was read but not granted.
The petition of Richard Thomason, currier, was read but not granted, and that of John Annion, innholder, was read and deferred.
