William Dannold admitted as one of the almsmen of John Vernon, in succession to John Almond, deceased.
Samuel Bucke, ironmonger, petitioned that his son Samuel might have one of the two scholarships in the Universities of Oxford or Cambridge, founded by Robert Offley the elder "for such as there shalbee hope of will studie divinitye", one of whom was to be chosen by (ZA/B/2/94v) the Mayor, Aldermen and Common Council, and was to be the son of a free citizen. The petition was granted.
