DescriptionDraft minutes concerning an estreat from the Exchequer at Westminster for not keeping measures according to the King's standard, action was to be taken this next term; an assessment of £80 was to be made throughout the City for the highways, of which a £10 fine to be paid by William Fletcher, draper, for his house, was to form a part; assessors were appointed:- Mr. Tho: Knowles & Mr. Humphreys for Northgate St; Mr. Thropp, Mr. Brooke & Mr. Randle Holme, jun. for Bridge St; Mr. Robt. Sproston & Mr. William Ince for Watergate St; Mr. Broster, Mr. Wilcocke for Foregate St; Mr. Robt. Ince, jun. & Mr. John Aldersey for Eastgate St.
