Description | The petition of Francis Knowles, servant to his Majesty's Farmers of Customs, concerning a quantity of skins purchased by him from Thomas Talbott of Wexford, which had been seized by the Sheriffs of Chester as foreign bought and foreign sold. He asked that his offence be remitted and that he might have the benefit of the sale he had made. Note that the money should be paid to the Sheriffs within a week and that then the petition would be considered. |
