Description | The petition of Thomas Ince, glover, stating that he was formerly tenant of the Globe Tavern at the yearly rent of five marks, for six years or more, and had been put to great expense in repairing seven bays and other decayed places in the same to the value of £60. He had since been put out of the house and had commenced suit in the Exchequer at Chester against William Edwards, now tenant, but the suit had been turned over to the City as it was the City's land. He asked for a settlement to be made. |
