Description | Petition of the Aldermen and Stewards of the rest of the Company of Innholders, Cooks and victuallers, stating that no free man (not free of the petitioners' company) or any other ought to keep any lodging, victualling or stabling for the entertainment of guests, and complaining that William Grice, Alexander Weld, Thomas Everton and James Woods obstinately persist in giving entertainment and selling drink. They asked that these persons might be suppressed or that former orders made against them be put into execution. |
