Description | Petition of Robert Parks, clothier, stating that he had £25 of the City's money which he put to good service but, at the time the money was payable to the City and he ready to tender it, his estate was seized by Thomas Hix and Richard King by order from Colonel Gamull. His wife and children were turned out of the City and before that he was overburdened with quartering soldiers so that at least sixteen pounds remained owing to him. He asked that he might be given three years in which to repay the £25. |
