Description | Petition of William Drinkwater, Alderman, and Robert Ince, draper, Coroners for the County of the City, stating that they have executed the office for many years to the neglect of their other employment and at great trouble and expense, being prohibited by law from taking any fees except in cases of murder. They have been impoverished by their losses in the late wars and ask to be allowed their charges and to have a yearly salary. Note: that they are to make a note of their disbursements for the next Assembly which will then be considered. |
