Description | Petition of William Sharman, cabinet maker, stating that he was born at Saughton in St. Oswald's parish and has served seven year's apprenticeship to William Ingham, cabinet maker, who is leabing the City, and that he has recently set up a shop at Glovers Stone. He was bound apprentice about six months before William Ingham was admitted to the freedom and he desires to be admitted to the freedom. Note that this and the counter-petition of the Joiners Carvers and Turners Company were read and it was ordered that he be free paying £10 within a month. |
