Administrative History	This school, opened on St. Mary's Hill in 1846 as an infant school, was reorganised as a junior and infant school in 1904 to ease overcrowding elsewhere. From 1954 to 1972, it was an infant school and the premises have since been occupied by St. Mary's Nursery School.
