Administrative HistorySt. Paul's church, Boughton, was built in 1830, and the parish formed in 1846 out of the parishes of St. John the Baptist and St. Oswald. A day school was held in the new ecclesiastical district of S. Paul's, Boughton, from c.1830. The parochial schools were built in 1857 and opened in 1858. There were originally three schools, infant, girls' and boys', but the infants and girls were amalgamated in 1910, and the infants and girls merged with the boys to form Boughton St. Paul's C.E. Primary School in 1948. The school was redesigned Boughton St. Paul's First School in 1972. In 1973, it moved to new premises in Fosbrook Street and is now Boughton St. Paul's County Infant School.
