| Administrative History | This school was opened in 1877 in St. Barnabas' church, Sibell Street, which was a mission church in the parish of St. John the Baptist. It was run as a department of the Grosvenor St. John's School until the Act of 1902 came into operation [see Fowler op. cit. p.164.] It closed in 1910, when the pupils were transferred to the new Egerton Street Council Infant School, now Egerton Street County Infant School. |
