Administrative History	Egerton Street Council Infant School opened in 1910, to accommodate the pupils and teachers of St Barnabas' Infant School, which closed in 1910, and the Wesleyan Infant School, which closed in 1909. It became Egerton Street First School in 1972 and closed in 1992.
