Administrative History | This college developed from an adult education centre housed in Booths Mansion, Watergate Street and from the School of Art which had been held in the Grosvenor Museum since 1886. The college opened in Booths Mansion in 1947 but transferred to new premises in Eaton Road, Handbridge, in 1956. However, some classes were still held in Booths Mansion until c.1969. The School of Art continued to meet in the Grosvenor Museum until c.1960. The records include annual reports and governors' minutes. |
