Administrative History	Thermal Appliances Ltd was set up in Britain by Askania Werke AG of Dessau, Germany in 1933 and made water heaters. In December 1936 Radiation Ltd acquired the entire share capital of Thermal appliances Ltd and then transferred it to Richmonds Gas Stove Co Ltd. of which it became a wholly owned subsidiary
