TitleDEED OF EXCHANGE between Sir Thomas Broughton of Doddington Bt., Lord of the Manor of Bridgmere, and Rt. Hon. Wilbraham Earl of Dysart, owner of divers messuages, lands, tenements and hereditaments within the said Manor; whereby the sd. Sir Thomas enfeoffs to the sd. Earl of Dysart --- an ancient enclosure cntng. 2 roods 11 perches adjoining a field called the long Hollins (parcel of a tenement of the sd. Earl in lease to Catherine Harwar, widow) and a watering place in another field called the Brook Flatt (other part of the sd. tenement), in the holding of William Leversage, an ancient enclosure cntng. 10 perches adjoining a field called the well field (part of another tenement of the sd. Earl called late Lea's otherwise Sparrow's Tenement now in the holding of Hugh Breeze), another ancient enclosure cntng. 7 perches adjoining to and forming part of the garden of George Timmis (parcel of a certain other tenement of the sd. Earl called late Edwards's), 2 other ancient enclosures cntng. 30 perches lying to and forming part of gardens yard or stack yard belonging to another tenement of the sd. Earl called late Maddocks's Tenement now in the holding of Daniel Hewitt, which sd. parcels contain together 3 roods 18 perches; and the sd. Earl enfeoffs the sd. Sir Thomas Broughton in a parcel of land in BRIDGMERE cntng. 24 perches now and for several years used as a garden adjoining a close cd. Ranchers Croft now in the holding of Samuel Ravenscroft, a parcel of land as lately marked out cntng. 2 roods 34 perches, part of a close in Bridgmere of the sd. Earl cd. 3 Peers Meadow or three Ports Meadow now in the holding of Daniel Hewitt, lying near a cottage or Tenement of the sd. Sir Thomas Broughton in Bridgmere in the holding of John Mulliner, and another parcel of land as lately marked out, part of the sd. 3 peers meadow cntng. 3 roods 14 perches adjoining the sd. cottage; reserving to the sd. Earl the liberty to erect a dam or weir across that part of the brook lying at the upper end of the sd. meadow for the purpose of diverting the water for the use of the lands of the sd. Earl; and the sd. water for the use of the lands of the sd. Earl; and the sd. Sir Thomas Broughton allots to the sd. Earl the inclosures named in compensation for the loss of his rights of common, as specified. Parchment.
