Robert Hill of Hough, clerk; whereby in consideration of the intended marriage between the sd. John Delves Broughton and the sd. Elizabeth Egerton and of £1,666-13-4, being the portion of the sd. Elizabeth, 1) releases to 4) --- the Manors or Lordships of BASFORD, SHAVINGTON alias GHEASTY cum SHAVINGTON, capital messuage called Basford Hall, with other messuages and lands there (named), and Manor of BUERTON, capital messuage in BUERTON called the Old Hall and lands pertaining (named).
