Title	PRE-NUPTIAL SETTLEMENT between 1) Rev. Sir Thomas Broughton of Doddington Hall, Bt. 2) Mary Scott Jackson of Bedford Square (Co. Middlesex), widow and relict of Thomas Scott Jackson, late of the same, merchant deceased. 3) James Adair of Lincolns Inn Fields (Co. Middlesex), Esq., one of H.M.'s Serjeants at Law and Thomas Bernard of Lincolns Inn, Esq.; whereby in consideration of the intended marriage between the sd. Rev. Sir Thomas Broughton and the sd. Mary Scott Jackson, it is agreed that the personal estate and effects of the sd. Mary Scott Jackson shall be assigned to the sd. 3rd party, in trust to take out an insurance of £10,000 on the life of the sd. Sir Thomas Broughton, and to further uses specified. Parchment.
